A shipwrecked boater who was lost in the Bermuda Triangle for twenty years. He has no recollection of what happened in the timeframe he was missing, and appparently hasn't aged a day.
Cyprus is convinced that he was living with merpeople for the entire time. Jake wants to find out what happened to everyone he knew in the last twenty years but his fears hold him back, it's easier to just stay on Little Paradise. He's taken up cooking tapas at the bar to earn his keep and dreams of finding and rebuilding his sailboat.

He spends his time repairing the buildings on the island, cooking, and occasionally challenging cyprus to drinking contests.

An American who, while on spring break to the bahamas, spent all her money and couldn't get home. Taking a job as a bartender of the Sandy Dollar, she tried to earn enough money to make it back home. Unfortunatly, her boss Eemo ran off on a hunt for buried treasure leaving her high and dry and with a beach bar to manage through thick in thin,off season and on. Cutting her losses, she remained and came to a decission to get the bar out of the red.

She spends most of her time concocting strange tropical drinks and trying them out on the tourists and vacationers, and more importantly cyprus.

An alien from Yahul, who became a renowned author for his book "Just On My Way Through, an alien's view of earth." After six years of exploring earth he realized just how paranoid humans in large cities and landlocked areas could get and headed out to the more friendly, relaxed, and deserted islands where he now lives. He's working on a new book, the topic of which he says is a secret, but in his freetime writes short stories about mermaids to keep his publisher happy.

He spends most of his time drinking and smoking at the Sandy Dollar, telling stories about mermaids he's met and watching
people ignore or not believe him. Occasionally, he writes too.

A beach bum who sits out under the palms and spends most of her time trying to pick up guys.
She's been crowned Queen Little Paradise five years in a row, but since the island has a realitively small population this doesn't mean much. She's very sheltered and doesn't have alot of common sense, and denies that cyprus is an alien, that the burmuda triangle exists, amoung other things. She just thinks cyprus has some weird genetic condition that makes himlook like that, despite the fact aliens are a well known and excepted citizens in 2022.

She likes to lay on the beach and flirt, especially with older guys. Gee, what a surprise.
